February 2, 2011

Dale, Katie, Kristi, and Zach. We came up with a more solid outline and found a few more sources to add to the information. Kristi and Katie emailed Dr. Davies of USU, a climate change professor, and asked him to do an interview with us. Dale and Zach wrote more for a script for reporters for the video and we all brainstormed ideas for the video.

3 FOCUS POINTS

1.) The cost of both sides

a.) Al Gores house, http://blogs.babble.com/famecrawler/tag/al-gore-new-house-california/ Pictures of both masions

b.)Colbert report of Al, *Clip about how much money it will cost to fix global warming with Al Gore, Republican vs. Democratic http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/255173/november-04-2009/formidable-opponent---global-warming-with-al-gore

NASA article about global warming

Article saying it would be minimal cost to fix global warming

2.) The “climigate”

    b.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROaLU8g8VA4

c.)http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-december-1-2009/scientists-hide-global-warming-dat

3.) The snow storm

    a.) John Stewart-http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-february-10-2010/unusually-large-snowstorm

d.)http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/02/12/reconciling-record-snow-storms-global-warming/

-“Joseph Romm, a climate change expert and former Energy Department official; Jeff Masters, a meteorologist who writes on the Weather Underground blog; and others argue that this winter's snowstorms are, counterintuitively, evidence of global warming and not cooling.”
-"It's absurd for the 'anti-science side' to say we're in a cooling trend when we're in an overall warming trend," says Romm of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank. "Heavy snow is not evidence that climate science is false," he added, noting that "the snow we've seen is entirely consistent with global warming theory."
